
Net Control
Net Control has the following main functions:
- remotely manage PCs with Intel®
Active Management Technology.
- remotely manage servers with Intelligent
Platform Management Interface (IPMI version 1.5).
- turn on or wake a PC remotely by sending
a Wake-on-LAN "magic packet".
- control selected Advantech Ethernet I/O Modules
with Modbus/TCP protocol (ADAM 6060,6060W, 6066).
Wake-on-Lan (WoL) technology allows a PC to be remotely woken from sleeping, hibernation or soft-off.
PCs with IAMT support control of power state and retrieval of asset information even when the machine is powerd off.
Servers with IPMI support control of power state and retrieval of sensors and FRU information even when the machine is powerd off.
